J. Asher Neel Remembered

I was a student of Asher’s before we became friends. He was perhaps one of the best sales minds our industry has ever seen. Through all the years of our friendship, I was always his student.
For 15 years or so, Asher and I did a tremendous amount of public speaking together. As much as he loved meeting, teaching and inspiring others, he loved going home to his family more.
I’ve heard Asher say countless times, “Good ideas are a dime a dozen, but people who put them into practice are priceless.” He was a person who lived the things he taught. He taught about the value of setting goals. He set and met personal and professional goals. Asher Neel was a man of ideas. As a friend and as a person, he was priceless.
